Welcome to molecular biology lab. In recent years, molecular biology has become one of the most exciting and active subjects in the field of life science, which has been quickly developing and recombining new science concept, esearch methods and technology platform. Molecular biology provides a powerful theoretical basis and technical support for each research field of life science and represents the future and hope of life science. Molecular biology lab of life science research center in Heibei North University is a shared experiment platform and bridges among  different subjects，whose aim is to strengthen subject construction and promote comprehensive development.

    Molecular biology lab is located on the seventh floor of Science and Technology Building in Life Science Research Center, equipped with the advanced facilities including liquid chromatography-mass spectrography（LC/MS）, Isoelectrofocusing Electrophoresis System, Gel Imaging System, Fluorescence Quantitative PCR Amplifier, Nucleic Acid Isolation Machine, Fluorescence Spectrophotometer，Ultraviolet Spectrophotometer，and ect.

    At present, the following research methods are available.
        1.Single Nucleotide Polymorphism(SNP) analysis; Restriction Fragment Length Polymorphism( RFLP) analysis.
        2.Reverse Transcription-PCR(RT-PCR).
        3.Western Blot.
        4.Gene Cloning.
        5.Construction of Expression Vectors in Prokaryote or Eukaryote;
        6.Transient or Stable Transfection.

    The developing aim of molecular biology lab is to estabillsh comprehensive platform on which teaching, science research and application can be performed together.
