Modern Analysis and Detection Laboratory is a college sharing platform which serves scientific research, teaching and academic service. Its location is in middle part of the third floor of Science and Technology Building. At present, the lab holds L-8900 Amino Acid Analyzer, HP1100 High Performance Liquid Chromatographic Analyzer，HP1200 Medimachine of high performance liquid chromatography, the CO2 supercritical preparation instrument, vacuum freeze drying apparatus， plant grinding apparatus, tissue homogenate instrument, pressure plowing concentrator and some commonly used instruments for extraction.

    At present, the following research methods are available:
      1. Extraction, separation and purification for effective components in samples;
      2. Qualitative and quantitative analysis of effective components in samples;
      3. Establishment of fingerprint for traditional Chinese medicine;
      4. Qualitative and quantitative analysis of amino acids in samples.
